Best shot ever was knocking a woodpecker off the top of a streetlight pole. I used venetian blind chord and an old shoe tongue for the pouch.<BR/><BR/>The range on a sling was better than on a rubber-powered slingshot, so when we had wars, I had the advantage over distance, though not in speed.
