I have been toying with this for the last few weeks, although not sinse I got a cold. I started with 2 days a week, now up to 3, breaking fast at dinner, 18-24 hours after previous meal. So far I have found:

Yes, this is very interesting. It is worthwhile to put intermittent fasting into the pubmed and do research.
The thread on Bodyrecomp has some really good stuff in it too.
If IF pans out, it'll be a remarkable tool for health and longevity.
I think the discussion of how to use IF for gaining muscular bulk on the BR.com forums is really and interesting one.
I did IF for about 5-6 weeks and had good results.
